NFL Drafts A Guy Who's Never Played Football

The Buffalo Bills drafted a guy who's never played a single snap of football in his life. His name is Travis Clayton, and he's a professional rugby player from the U.K. They want him on the offensive line.

FULL STORY: With the 221st pick in the NFL Draft on Saturday, the Buffalo Bills chose Travis Clayton. They picked him to play offensive line, even though he's never played that position.

I should also note that he's never played ANY position. Because he's never played a single snap of football in his entire life.  (???)

He's a professional RUGBY player from the U.K., and he was one of 16 players in this year's International Player Pathway program, which gives international athletes a chance to enter the NFL.

He says, quote, "With rugby also being a team sport, I believe that helps tremendously, my team knowledge and what it takes to communicate properly here and in the future, hopefully in the NFL.

"More importantly, playing the wing in rugby helps with the physicality side and with agility and things like that will help."
